Breakthrough Method : Simply Music

In addition to being a successful performing and recording artist, Jennifer is also a gifted piano teacher.  Licensed in an Australian-developed breakthrough method of piano instruction called Simply Music, Jennifer works with students of all ages, privately and in groups, at her studio in North Oakland.  Her students achieve outstanding results and truly enjoy the process of learning with Jennifer as their instructor.

“Throughout my life, I’ve found tremendous joy in playing music, both alone and with others. My primary goal as a teacher is to share this joy with my students and to teach them how to discover the capacity for it within themselves.”

Jennifer’s students include 

Children: Ages 5 and up
Adults: Beginning, intermediate and advanced lessons
Singers: Both amateur and professional. All those who wish to expand your overall musicianship and piano skills.

“I fully support each of my students in achieving his or her individual musical goals, whether or not those goals include playing professionally in any capacity.  What is of primary concern to me is that my students attain the ability to be musically self-expressed to one degree or another, that they have a positive and self-affirming relationship with music, and that they have a positive and self-affirming relationship with themselves in the process of learning to play.”
